Rooted in the Goddess: The Hearth Keeper
Rooted in the Goddess is a monthly women’s gathering exploring the sacred feminine through seasonal themes, herbal wisdom, reflection, ritual, and community.
Each month we journey through a different expression of feminine wisdom—guided by the rhythms of the Wheel of the Year and supported by a featured herb that reflects the season’s energy. These gatherings offer space to slow down, connect, and explore the deeper relationship between nature, the plants, and our inner lives.
The Hearth Keeper tends the fire that warms the home, prepares the food that nourishes the household, and ensures that the essentials of daily life are sustained. Her work requires attention, knowledge, and care — often in ways that go unseen.
Inspired by the hearth traditions associated with Brigid, the Celtic goddess, we'll explore the Hearth Keeper archetype through three themes: warmth, sustenance, and life force. What can this archetype teach us about the everyday work that keeps life going, the traditions and wisdom we carry forward, and the things that sustain our own vitality?
Rosemary, our companion herb, will bring us into connection with the plant world through its culinary and medicinal traditions, aromatic qualities, and associations with remembrance.
